| Το φυσικό τοπίο των δρόμων του κέντρου της Πάτρας εξαρτάται από τη πολιτεία (τον Δήμο), η οποία παρεμβαίνει στην φυσική τους ανάπτυξη με την αισθητική της “ευταξίας”. Αντίθετα, στα προάστια της ίδιας πόλης (στην Αγία Βαρβάρα, στο Σκαγιοπούλειο, στα Ζαρουχλέικα, στην Ταραμπούρα, στα Προσφυγικά), την ίδια χρονική στιγμή, το φυσικό τοπίο εξελίσσεται με "άτακτες", αυτόνομες δράσεις ιδιωτών. Έτσι, η παρεμβατική στάση της πολιτείας αντικαθίσταται από τη φροντίδα των κατοίκων, τα θεσμικά όργανα από την συλλογική στάση και η αισθητική της “ευταξίας” από την αισθητική της “αταξίας”. Με το αρχείο αυτό διαβάζουμε, διακρίνουμε, ταξινομούμε το τοπίο των φυτεύσεων στα πεζοδρόμια της Πάτρας, υποδεικνύοντας τη διαφορά ανάμεσα στη θεσμική παρέμβαση και στη συλλογική φροντίδα, με φωτογραφίες, συνεντεύξεις, σχέδια. | The natural landscape of the roads of downtown Patras depends on the state (the Municipality), which intervenes in their natural development according to the aesthetics of “regularity”. Conversely, in the suburbs of the same city (Agia Varvara, Skagiopoulio, Zarouchleika, Taraboura, and the Prosfygika), at the same time, the natural landscape is evolving through the “irregular”, autonomous actions of individuals. Thus the interventionist attitude of the state is replaced by the care of the inhabitants; the institutional state agencies are replaced by a collective stance, and the aesthetics of “regularity” is replaced by the aesthetics of “irregularity”. Through this archive we can read, distinguish, and classify the landscape of the planted pavements of Patras, while pointing out the difference between institutional intervention and collective care, with the use of photographs, interviews and drawings. |
